Terms of Use

Effective 28 July 2026

These terms govern your use of Pivot for macOS. Purchasing or using Pivot means you agree to these terms and to the applicable Lemon Squeezy buyer terms presented at checkout.

License

Pivot grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the software for personal or internal business purposes on the number of devices allowed by your purchase. Pivot is licensed, not sold.

Restrictions

You may not redistribute, resell, sublicense, rent, publish, or provide Pivot to others as a hosted service. You may not bypass licensing or access controls. Reverse engineering is prohibited only to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Purchases and refunds

Lemon Squeezy processes purchases as merchant of record. Prices, taxes, currency conversion, receipts, and payment methods are handled at checkout. Refund requests are governed by the published Refund Policy and any non-waivable consumer rights.

Updates

A one-time license grants use of the version purchased. It does not promise every future feature, major upgrade, operating-system compatibility change, or indefinite support. Maintenance updates may be released at Pivot’s discretion.

Your responsibility

Window management can change the position, size, visibility, and focus of application windows. Save important work, maintain appropriate backups, and verify that a restored workspace is suitable before relying on it. You are responsible for using Pivot in compliance with workplace policies and applicable law.

Third-party services

Purchases and licensing use Lemon Squeezy. Optional iCloud Sync uses Apple iCloud Drive. Those services are governed by their own terms and availability.

Disclaimer

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pivot is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted operation, compatibility with every application, or fitness for a particular purpose. Rights that cannot legally be excluded remain unaffected.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pivot’s total liability arising from the software will not exceed the amount you paid for Pivot during the twelve months before the claim. Pivot is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages where such limitations are lawful.

Termination

The license ends if you materially violate these terms. On termination, stop using and delete the software. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

Changes and contact

Material changes will be posted here with a new effective date. Questions may be sent to hello@getpivot.one.
